About VABODE Health Systems

For more than 22 years, VABODE Health Systems, through its Mental Health Pros. and SMARTS Recovery divisions, has provided compassionate behavioral health, human services, and community-based support to individuals and families throughout Virginia.

Our work is rooted in the rich heritage and mission of our nonprofit organization, Christian Soldiers Charities and Missions, which is dedicated to serving individuals and families impacted by poverty, homelessness, domestic violence, and emotional and behavioral health challenges. This commitment to service remains at the heart of our behavioral health, human services, community outreach, and evangelism efforts.

Our team of experienced therapeutic and behavioral health professionals has a strong history of helping individuals achieve meaningful and lasting outcomes. Through our nonprofit initiatives, community mental health services, substance use programs, and outreach efforts, we provide individuals and families with the healing, support, resources, and opportunities for success they need to move forward.

Today, we serve communities throughout Virginia, including Ashland, Chesterfield, Goochland, Hampton, Hanover, Henrico, Newport News, Norfolk, Suffolk, Petersburg, Portsmouth, Richmond, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, and surrounding communities.
