IMMEDIATE JOB OPPORTUNITY FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE IN OUR NEWPORT NEWS OFFICE. MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION AND BE WILLING TO WORK 9-5 FACILITATING GROUP TO CLIENTS WITH SUBSTANCE USE ISSUES. ONLY SERIOUS CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED WHO HAVE A CURRENT CSAC, CSAC-S OR LMHP.

VABODE is seeking a certified CSAC or licensed substance abuse group facilitator for an immediate position in our Chesterfield location. We are looking for someone willing to work full-time from 9-5 pm in the Newport News office. Our technologically advanced state-wide healthcare agency has career opportunities for individuals who have experience facilitating ASAM 2.1, 2.5, or 3.1 services. The Substance Abuse Counselor facilitates groups five days per week in three-hour sessions; and completes documentation of services. The average per-group caseload will not exceed 12 clients. Other duties as assigned.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a qualified Human Services Field
Experience:
- Addiction counseling: 1 year (Required)
Required Certification:
- Certified Substance Abuse Counselor
- Certified Substance Abuse Supervisee
- LMHP
- No CSAC-trainee
Schedule:
- Lead SAIOP group for a total of 3 hours
- (Monday – Friday)
- No weekends

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
