We are seeking a certified nursing assistant to play a pivotal role in supporting an elderly woman with her daily needs and overall well-being in a home environment.

- Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes in patient condition to the family.
- Supporting mobility efforts, including transferring patient between bed, wheelchair, and other locations.
- Assisting with making meals and ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting care activities.
- Providing compassionate emotional support to patient and their family.
- Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining cleanliness in patient areas.
- Collaborating with the family in order to deliver high-quality care.
- Assisting with additional tasks as assigned.
Must-have:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active CNA certification in Virginia.
- Ability to follow care plans, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a home environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patient, family, and medical staff.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
- Physical stamina to lift and assist patient safely and perform duties during long shifts.
Compensation and work hours:
$20/hour (must have CNA)
